Another product line I did not want to like because it is pricey, but I do. Virtue is a relatively new line of hair care products that helps to restore and actually repair your hair. It is free of sulfate, parabens, phthalates, synthetic colors and dyes. Also gluten and cruelty free! I like the Smooth line of shampoo and conditioner and I also use the Correct unfrizz cream as a leave in on damp hair! Also I just took their mini hair test online and it turns out I should be using their Restore shampoo with the Smooth conditioner!  Did not occur to me to do that!

First World Problem

Just needed to share this new product for eyebrows! Recently I realized that I never pluck my eyebrows  anymore( never was a waxer)  I'm sure it's another age related loveliness I hate hearing about. So I went out and bought an eyebrow pencil. A couple of them actually. None of them I know how to use. It's either too much and I feel like Greta Garbo or too little. Anyway a friend told me about Bobbi Brown's eyebrow shaper that goes on like mascara!  It's brilliant! I'm blonde so I went with blonde color. Simple. Love it. Thank you Lynn!

So today is a "don't be an idiot" day.  I had a laser type facial called EMERGE a year ago. (it's taken me that long to talk about it). Remember that name  EMERGE and stay far, far away. You will not Emerge.  I would love to post and blast the name of the woman who owns her own spa who performed it on me (south natick) but I won't do that.  I was very stupid not knowing what I was getting myself into but I had sun spots on the left side of my face which she said she could get rid of with this procedure.  Very, very stupid on my part.  She burned by face. Broke a million capillaries on cheeks and neck, of which a year later I still have. Plus I still have the original brown spots. Plus she did not give me my money back. So remember that name EMERGE!  And don't do it!

Another great Kerastase product

Just a summer tip that I thought I would share.  Kerastase has a new product called Fibre Architecte. You apply it after towel drying,  then finish drying. Anyway, good stuff. I wouldn't bother posting about it if it wasn't. :)

New lipstick

I have totally neglected my blog.  Maybe because it was winter and I felt uninspired.  Anyway, just for fun I did buy a new lipstick for spring called Naked in Paris by Mac.   Good color.  try it. :)

Mascara

So a while back I ranted and raved about the Clinique Glossy Mascara, saying it was the only good mascara out there. I still believe it is very good, but for some reason lately I have been experimenting with some of the more grown up/pumped up mascaras (because it is fun.) Also because I was at a store that had a table of "must have cosmetics". So I tried the Christian Dior (DIORSHOW) mascara. I liked it for about 2-3 days until it started clumping. I think after a few times the brush starts to get over coated and whatever I don't like it anymore (I know, I should probably just wipe the brush off). Anyway, long story short (and several other failed purchases like one called Blink), I'm recommending Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara. Not expensive ($7.49) Doesn't clump adds volume. Does everyone think about this stuff or is it just me?
